PEDAL is excited to announce a February Fundraiser for Fun and Frolicking!
We are intent on breaking the dreary February blues with an evening of dancing and drinks!  Some great music to move your body to by Dj Magic Pants and Dj Matty From Life, getting you into that festive mood.
Also, we would like to introduce to our party goers: Roller Sprints!!

A challenging way to test yourself against your friends or strangers!  With a large screen heads-up display, the contenders can see their progress with bright visuals!
This is the perfect way to spend the last Saturday of February and get stoked on life and bikes! Come and join us! Support a cause! Dance and be merry! Drinks will be available at a reasonable price!

Get your tickets at Our Community Bikes or Pedal Depot, $5.00 in advance or $10.00 at the door!

Bike!Bike! is an international conference organized by and for not-for-profit community bicycle projects and initiatives. It is an opportunity for people across North America to come together to learn, network, share, affirm, and explore.

The conference itself consists of educational workshops, forums, and discussions. The topics range from wheel building, consensus decision-making, gender dynamics, and of course, how to start a community bike project. All workshops are presented and facilitated by attendees.

We’re looking for help getting this amazing project together mostly in the form of volunteers.  Are you a fan of Our Community Bikes stoked on supporting our shop and shops just like ours?  We’d love your help.  Please check out the Bike!Bike! website for more information, or come into the shop to pick out brains (not literally!).

This fall some enthusiastic staff at PEDAL helped to create and deliver a successful program building bikes and community with a group of kids and their families in downtown Vancouver.
