Maya PEDAL
From Jan 1998 to Apr 2001 we coordinated a partnership-based appropriate technology project in the Guatemalan highlands that recycles old bicycles into pedal-powered agricultural devices. This project is now run separately by Maya Pedal of Guatemala.

The PEDAL Works
From Jan 2002 on we have begun to produce pedal driven devices (primarily for food processing and agricultural applications), oddball bicycles and load carriers from recycled bicycles at The Pedal Works in Vancouver.

The Bike Kitchen
From 1999 through 2000 we worked with the University of British Columbia Bike Coop to develop a bicycle shop based on the OCB model. The Bike Kitchen is now a self-sustaining operation run entirely by the UBC Bike Coop.
