Our Community Bikes will be open on Victoria Day which lands on Monday, May 20th this year. Come hang out with us and get your bike all ready for some sunny seawall riding!

The Pedal Depot is closed every Monday but if you have a question for our staff, there will be someone there to answer the phones.

Hello fellow cyclists! I hope everyone has had plenty of time to check out the cherry blossoms all along those bike routes. Just a reminder that Our Community Bikes and the Pedal Depot will be closed this Wednesday, May 1st in solidarity with International Workers Day.

Please note that from May onward we will be relocating Women’s Nights to Our Community Bikes. We feel that the central location is easier to access and better lit at the end of the night. Our special activities at Our Community Bikes (3283 Main Street) and the Pedal Depot (1830 Ontario Street) will include the following:

Thursday the 2nd: Basic Maintenance Course (6:30 to 9:30pm at OCB, $40 registration required beforehand)

Tuesday the 14th: Volunteer Orientation (6:30pm to 7:30pm at OCB) then Volunteer Appreciation Night (7:30pm to 9:30pm)

Wednesday the 15th: Women’s Night (6:30pm to 9:30pm at OCB)

Tuesday the 27th: Member Appreciation Night (6:30pm to 9:30pm at OCB)

Thursday the 30th: HUB Advanced Maintenance Course (9:00am to 12:00pm at The Pedal Depot, $60 registration through HUB required beforehand. Visit https://bikehub.ca/streetwise for more details)

Hello everyone!

We will be holding our Annual General Meeting on Monday May 27th! The location and time will be announced as we approach the date.

We are also looking to hire some people in the coming weeks. We are looking for a junior mechanic for Our Community Bikes, a junior mechanic / Pedals for the People coordinator at the Pedal Depot as well as a Summer Camp Coordinator for Our Community Bike Club.
